About

Photography has and will always be my creative outlet and means of self-expression. Even as a child I enjoyed photography and would spend time playing with my parent's film camera. I would pose my younger brothers around the house and snap pictures of them. I was excited at the age of 10 when I received my first polaroid land camera, the button.

Photography became my passion after I had my first black and white film class in college. Working in a dark room where I was able to bring my photos to life gave me a greater appreciation for the art of photography. After that I took a digital photography class and there began my desire to find my own unique eye for the art and to visually express myself. After college I decided to further my interest by investing in a DSLR camera and lighting equipment.

I worked at a portrait studio for a couple of years, hoping to gain experience but realized that I enjoy my independent work the best. Every shoot and every photo is a learning experience for me. I thank God for the ability to capture life through a photograph the way that I see it.
