SESSION BOOKING
If you would like to book a session please do so by going to the booking section of this website. If you will be paying with cash or check when booking please call the number on the contact section of this site. Sessions are by appointment only and must be booked at least 2 weeks in advance. Appointments booked later than 2 weeks will be charged an extra fee.
PORTRAIT SESSION FEE, DEPOSIT & PAYMENT
Session fee covers the time and talent of the photographer only and does not apply to your portrait order. A non-refundable, non-transferable $50 deposit is due when you book your appointment. If your deposit is not received your appointment will no longer be reserved. 100% of your deposit applies towards your session fee. The remainder of your payment is required before the start of your session.
SESSION DETAILS
We will shoot at a location of your choice so that the session will have a comfortable atmosphere. Good locations can be anywhere that is special to you, your home, a neighborhood park, the beach or local downtown areas are great places to photograph at. On location sessions are done using natural lighting and are best in the early morning or late afternoon. For indoor sessions I do have studio lights and backdrops to accommodate. For on location shoots please arrive on time, to ensure that everything runs smoothly and is not rushed.
PHOTOGRAPHY CONSULTATION
At least a week prior to your photo session we will meet to discuss the nature of the portraits, clothing that should be worn as well as location of the shoot. This will be a great time to ask any questions you may have and to share ideas and express what you are looking for.
CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING
If you are not able to keep your session time, please notify me within 48 hours prior to your session time and I will be more than happy to reschedule. Your paid deposit will be applied to your new appointment if you reschedule within 1 week of the original session. If you do not reschedule within that time your deposit will be kept as a cancellation fee. There will be an additional $25.00 fee if you need to reschedule less than 48 hours in advance.
PORTRAIT PURCHASING
2 weeks after your session your images will be available for viewing and ordering in a password protected gallery. Online proofs will be available for viewing up to 2 weeks. If no orders have been placed in that time frame, the gallery will become inactive. There will be a $30 republishing fee for any inactive galleries.
Orders without payment will not be processed. If paying by check please allow 2 weeks after payment clears for processing and shipping. You can expect your portraits to be ready within two weeks of your print order being placed. All orders will be mailed.
DISCOUNTS, GROUP RATES & GIFT CERTIFICATES
Please ask about our discounts for Military and special rates that are available for groups of 4 or more. Gift certificates may be purchased for family members and friends and must be used in full at the time of session.
